Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about how DataFacilitator works, pricing, and what you get.
DataFacilitator is a self-service platform for teams anywhere in the world that need real B2B business contact data for outbound sales, cold email, and growth. Every contact comes off the business's own website rather than a resold list. You buy credits, launch a search, and our system does the rest automatically — no manual requests, no waiting on a sales rep.
For every business: company name, full address, phone number, website and domain, business category, and — where we can find them on the business's own website — email address, a second phone number, VAT number, Chamber of Commerce / trade register number, and links to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and YouTube.
Every result is enriched by actually visiting the business's own website (not just pulled from a directory), and duplicate listings are automatically detected and removed — matched by domain, or by company name plus phone/email when there's no website. You only get real, deduplicated businesses.
Sign up, buy credits, then fill in an industry, a country, and one or more cities (one per line). Submit it and the job runs automatically, searching every city you listed and combining the results into a single job — no manual steps on your end.
€1 = 100 credits, and 1 result costs 7 credits — about €0.07 a business. Pick any amount from €5 — the more you buy, the bigger the bonus, up to +25% at €5,000 and beyond, with no cap on how much you can buy. No subscription and no hidden fees. Credits are charged live as each business is actually found, not a lump sum guessed upfront.
No minimum order and no fixed target count. Each search runs until it's covered every city you listed, or you run out of credits, whichever comes first.
It depends on how many cities you're searching, how many businesses turn up, and how many websites need visiting for enrichment — most searches finish within minutes. You can watch live progress (businesses found, duration, speed) on the job status page as it happens.
You buy credits via Stripe whenever you like, then spend them as searches run — 7 credits are deducted the moment each business is found. There's no separate per-search deposit or balance-due step, just a positive balance to get started.
If a result arrives with no phone number, no email and no website, it is automatically removed from your results and the 7 credits charged for it are refunded — even if we found a business name. You are never charged for a business you have no way to contact.
No — all credit purchases are final, including credits you haven't used yet. If you load €1,000 and only spend €500, the remaining €500 isn't refundable in any form. The only exception is the automatic empty-result refund above, which isn't something you request — it just happens on its own. Because purchases are final, it's smart to start with a small amount, confirm the data works for you, then move up to larger volumes (with bigger discounts) once you're sure. See our refund policy for details.
Yes — click Stop on any running search to pause it without losing progress, then Resume whenever you're ready. It picks up exactly where it left off and won't re-search businesses it already found.
Every completed job gives you both a CSV and an Excel (.xlsx) file, ready to import into your CRM or outreach tool. The ready-made files are deleted 48 hours after a search finishes, but your results themselves are kept — the search's page rebuilds the same file from them whenever you want, at no charge. You never need to re-run a search just to get your data back.
We only collect information businesses have already published about themselves — public listings, and whatever is on their own website. For most results that is company information rather than information about a person. Not for all of them: a sole trader is a real individual, and data protection law treats a name or a direct mobile as personal data even when it is public. So the honest answer is that our collection is lawful, and what you do next is your responsibility — before you contact anyone you need your own lawful basis (usually legitimate interest for B2B outreach), you must say where you got the details, and you must honour any request to stop. Our privacy policy sets all of this out in full.
As with any B2B data source, a small percentage of contacts may be outdated or unreachable by the time you use them. We're responsible for delivering accurate data as found at the time of the search, not for reachability outcomes afterward.
Three ways, no account needed for any of them. Ask NEO, the assistant on the green button at the bottom right of every page — it answers instantly. Use the contact form at /contact, which reaches a real person by email. Or message us on WhatsApp, on the button beside NEO. We answer all three ourselves.
No. Your account keeps a permanent record of every business you have paid for. That record is a receipt, not a copy of your results: it holds one identifier per business, and never a phone number or an email address. Everything else goes when you delete a search — the details, the file, all of it — while the receipt stays. If a later search finds one of those businesses again, it is collected fresh with up-to-date details and costs you nothing. This matters because searches overlap: the same business can appear in a search for one industry and again in a neighbouring town or a related category. The one thing that removes a business from that record is a refund: if we refunded a result — because it turned out to have no phone, no email and no website, or because it was a duplicate we took out of your file — then you did not pay for it, and it can be found and charged for on a later search. You pay for a business once, ever.
No. Only the ready-made CSV and XLSX files are deleted after 48 hours — your results themselves are kept. The search's own page rebuilds the same file from them whenever you want, free, and a moment slower than the original download. You never need to re-run a search just to get your data back, and nothing you paid for expires.
